Choose the right view
Section titled “Choose the right view”- Open Today.
- Choose My work to see work assigned to a collaborator explicitly linked to your signed-in account.
- Choose Team to see accessible work across the workspace, including unassigned work and collaborators with no account link.
- Open a task and use Task owner to find its owner. Choose Save task to keep the change.
A matching name or email does not establish an account link. A collaborator labelled no account link will not automatically receive a personal My work queue.
Assign work to yourself
Section titled “Assign work to yourself”Use Assign to me in the owner picker. If your account needs a collaborator identity, follow the picker’s registration step and supply your display name. This links your own identity; it does not invite a teammate or give anyone workspace access.
If registration loses its connection, retry the original registration. HarborDock keeps that attempt so a retry does not create a second identity.
Example
Section titled “Example”The fictional project North Pier launch has a task owned by “Alex,” with no account link. Another Alex signing in does not inherit that assignment. Choose the explicitly linked person when assigning account-based work.
Current limits
Section titled “Current limits”Assigning an owner does not send an invitation, message or email. It does not grant permissions. External reviewers and work waiting on someone else may appear in Waiting. Review ownership is separate from approving a deliverable.
If My work looks empty, check Team and the owner picker before creating duplicate tasks. Learn how tasks and deliverables differ.
