Manage a client

Use one client home to reach the work, files and context for that relationship.

Reviewed

  1. Choose Clients in the workspace navigation.
  2. Open the client’s row. Its home shows open tasks, deliverables, active projects and work needing attention.
  3. Open a project from the overview or the Projects section.
  4. Use Brief & brand for the existing brief workflow, or Client details to edit client information.
  5. Use New task to begin a task in this client’s context.

Choose Documents to browse your saved offers, proposals and pitches. Search by title, filter by document type, and choose More documents for another page. Opening a row keeps the listed revision, even if a newer revision is saved before you open it. Private documents stay private to their author and disappear from the list when their required source access is withdrawn.

The section also links to the existing document tools for creating or editing work. A historical revision is labelled in its editor; it is not silently replaced with the newest revision.

Choose Files to browse the latest saved version of each deliverable across this client’s projects, or Activity for the client’s shared work history. Both sections have continuation controls and retry failed reads.

Keep the relationship and the work connected

Section titled “Keep the relationship and the work connected”

The client home collects related records. It does not create copies of tasks or files. Opening a task takes you to the same saved task you can reach from Today. The Client follow-up card shows the existing next step and its date. Choose Edit client follow-up to change it in client details.

Use the client name in a project’s breadcrumbs to return to the client home. Browser Back also returns to the previous destination.

The fictional client North Pier Studio has a launch film and a seasonal campaign. Its home gives you a starting point for both, while each project keeps its own brief, tasks and versions.

Documents lists your saved offers and proposals/pitches. It is not a general file drive or a list of every tool’s output. Latest files and activity on the overview are short previews; use the client’s Files and Activity sections for more, or open a project to narrow the history.

Existing client follow-ups remain separate from tasks. HarborDock does not silently turn them into duplicate assignments. Use Today to review the next actions across clients.
