Files, versions and reviews
Review the intended version and keep its history clear when new files arrive.

Open a file
Section titled “Open a file”- Open a project home.
- Choose a file from Latest files, or open Files & versions.
- Open the file row to reach that deliverable and its selected version in the delivery workspace.
- Check the version number and review stage before recording a decision or opening the asset link.
The Files & versions list begins with the latest saved version of each deliverable. Use the delivery workspace to inspect that deliverable’s earlier versions.
For files across a client’s projects, open the client home’s Files section. Choose More files to continue. A failed page offers Retry files while keeping the rows already loaded. Each link retains the selected version when you open it, reload or use browser history.
Follow a review request
Section titled “Follow a review request”Open the review from Today. The link identifies the project, deliverable, version and review request. If a newer version has since been added, the historical link still refers to the original version. Check the historical-version notice before acting.
A changed version, changed creative brief or changed upstream approval can make a previous request no longer actionable. HarborDock does not silently transfer a decision to a different version.
Understand the evidence
Section titled “Understand the evidence”A file upload adds a version. It does not approve that version. Review stages and acceptance follow the delivery workflow’s requirements.
Recording evidence as a workspace operator is different from an authenticated client approving work. Do not describe an operator-entered note as a client’s signed approval. Completing a task also does not approve its related deliverable.
Example
Section titled “Example”You receive a review link for version 2 of the fictional North Pier first cut. Version 3 arrives later. The old link remains useful for understanding the version 2 discussion, while the active review must match the current version and stage.
Current limits
Section titled “Current limits”Files are the existing asset links attached to deliverable versions. This release does not add a general-purpose upload drive, folder manager or private storage service. Adding a URL does not change the permissions of the external file; make sure the intended reviewer can open it.
Review-request assignment and the existing delivery controls are separate. The project home is a route into that workflow, not a new approval shortcut. See Tasks and deliverables.
